Research:

    • Policies for handovers in heterogeneous wireless networks,
    • QoS-supporting medium access schemes for IEEE 802.11 WLANs,
    • Energy-efficient MAC and routing protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks.

Teaching:

Although I am not involved in regular teaching, it is a pleasure for me to work with motivated students. If you are looking for a minor / diploma thesis (Studien-/ Diplom-/ Masterarbeit) or a student-assistent job, feel free to apply by a short, informal mail.

Currently, I am offering the following theses:

    • Master-/Diplomarbeit: Heuristics for user groups in heterogeneous IEEE 802.11/802.16 environments
    • Master-/Diplomarbeit: Velocity-aware policies for multi-rate WLAN cells

For any information about these topics, please do not hesitate to contact me.
