Short Bio
Jorge Torres Gómez is with the Data Communications and Networking group at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, TU Berlin. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Technological University of Havana, CUJAE, Cuba, in 2008, 2010, and 2015, respectively, His academic carrier started as a Lecturer at CUJAE, from 2008 to 2018. During the first semester of 2019, he was an invited professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Carlos III University of Madrid, UC3M, Leganés Campus, Madrid, Spain. From September 2019 to August 2020 he was working with the Department of Digital Signal Processing and Circuit Technology, Technical University of Chemnitz, Chemnitz, Germany. He has been participating in DAAD, Erasmus+, and CAPES research projects. He is a reviewer of Physical Communication, RIELAC, and Telematic journals, as well as the Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC). His research interests include Molecular Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Software-Defined Radio, as well as Wireless and Wired Communication Systems.
