Short Bio
Rathinamala Vijay is a postdoctoral researcher at the Telecommunications Network (TKN) group at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, TU Berlin from June 2023. Her interests include study of coexistence of multiple technologies such as wired and wireless technologies, and their performances in application specific domains. She focuses on developing testbeds and deriving experimental insights to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency of various applications. She has worked on power line communications, BLE Mesh networks, and IEEE 802.11 a/g/p networks in ZENLab at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India where she completed her PhD. She has also been a visiting researcher at UC Davis and TU Berlin, and have worked on PAPR reduction algorithms in OFDM and developing testbed for performance evaluation using SDRs.
